Grounding Day is a one-day, multi-venue music festival unfolding along Queen Street West on November 1st, transforming the neighborhood into a continuous cultural journey from 12PM to 2AM. Rooted in the date's powerful symbolism, navigating from All Saints’ Day in Christianity, Día de los Muertos traditions across Latin America, and the seasonal transition marking the end of harvest, Grounding Day becomes a shared moment to honor memory, community, and renewal.

The festival celebrates Toronto’s explosive, diverse and fluid identity by bringing together artists from diverse diasporas and traditions, creating spaces where audiences move between venues, sounds, and cultural experiences. From daytime performances to nighttime dance floors, the programming reflects cycles of reflection and celebration, grounding participants in both heritage and the present moment.

With 4 venues hosting continuous live music, DJs, and interdisciplinary performances, Grounding Day invites attendees to reconnect: with music, with each other, and with the stories that shape our communities.
